Got some awesome exciting news here, sports fans! Check it out.

  1. Two shows in Rock Island coming up? Yes! I will be playing at Mojo's Coffeehouse for the River Music Experience this weekend, Saturday May 31 from 2 to 4 PM. It will be a nice intimate acoustic setting with coffee (or cool drinks if it's too warm). Come show some love and kick off your summer the right way with some chill tunes. In case you can't make that one, I will be back on June 14 from 7 to 9 PM. Also very intimate and acoustic so grab the one you love, whether they know it or not, and come on out. Summer evenings and acoustic music go hand in hand.
  2. More importantly, though, is that I finally got a booking into the largest music festival in Springfield, IL. SOHO Festival 2008. So big they actually have t-shirts for sale (myspace.com/sohomusicfest) with my name on them! I am playing Friday, June 6 from 5:30 to 6. It's a small set, but I've packed it full of some of my best material including a special tribute to the era that gave birth to well... me... the 1980's! So tell your friends, gas up your hopefully gas-efficient vehicle, and make a road trip down. 20 performers in 2 days including my good friends, Micah Walk, Dave Tamkin, and Pete Sander.
  3. The Rearviews & Revelations Tour, my first ever tour, will be hitting the Midwest from June 21 - June 28. I will be covering most of Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Indiana so stay tuned for some of those updates. Here is the tour schedule so far:
    1. June 21 - Blue Agave - Belleville, IL
    2. June 23 - Otto's Nightclub - Dekalb, IL
    3. June 24 - The Annex - Madison, WI
    4. June 25 - Silvie's Lounge - Chicago, IL
    5. June 26 - TBD - Central Illinois/Northern Indiana (HELP BOOK!)
    6. June 27 - Lazy Daze Coffeehouse - Indianapolis, IN
    7. June 28 - Dirty Jack's - Cincinnati, OH
    8. For the final show on June 29, I'm doing something special. I am throwing an intimate house show performance to be recorded live at my apartment, or another house depending upon the interest I get. If you would like to be a part of this recording/intimate acoustic house show, please email me at this address and I will provide details when I find out how many are interested in coming.

Hey guys... just a heads up, but our show on Friday, March 28 at Oliver's in Peoria is cancelled. There were some management changes at Oliver's and Kristi, who has been ever faithful to the MDB in booking us over there, is no longer with the company.

We are sad to see her go, and even sadder that our show date got passed off to another band in the shuffle. I know we had a lot of faithful Peoria fans that were coming out and we apologize for this. However, we are still on for April 25th at Oliver's, so we hope that you all come out as we wind down our spring season.

Also, for those who are really jonesing for some of the love, I'm still playing Saturday night in Dubuque at Loras College with my good friend from Boston, Tim Blane. So pass the word along and come show us some love!
